Upon arrival at the airport, one of our representatives will meet you and will set off to hotel in the heart of the Leh Town, rest for the day & acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh. During day or evening, you will meet our representative who will introduce you to the highlights of the
entire tour. In the evening, you will take a walk to Market and visit Shanti Stupa on the hill to get a panoramic view of Leh town. Overnight Hotel in Leh.
After breakfast drive towards western part of Ladakh along the Indus river on Leh – Srinagar highway start sightseeing with Alchi Monastry at alchi village said to be the oldest & most famous administered by the likir monastery after visit Hall of Fame (Museum founded by India Army) near Leh is worth a visit for every Indian, and proceed further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib founded in 15th century, Nestled deep in the Himalayas, drive ahead another 5km for Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity & further Driving through a picturesque landscape & visit Sangam - The Confluence Of The Indus And Zanskar River. After visiting above places, we drive back to Leh. Overnight at hotel in Leh.
After breakfast drive towards to Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la ((The Highest Motorable Road in the World alt: 5602Mts/18390Ft). After descending from the pass, Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive at Hunder & check in at Hotel/Camps. Later visit Deskit monastry & the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Overnight at Hotel/Camp.
After breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake via Shayok. Along the route, enjoy the scenic views of Shayok river & Karakoram Range. This route has few water crossings mainly in the month of June & July, to avoid these you need to leave early from Nubra. Reach Pangong Lake by afternoon. The lake is world highest saltwater lake situated at an elevation of 4,225 m. extending to almost 130 km long, 1/3 of its lies in India and 2/3 in China). Check in at camp/hotel in Pangong.
NOTE: THIS ROUTE DEPENDS ON WEATHER CONDITIONS. IF ROUTE BLOCK OCCURS REACH BACK TO LEH & STAY OVERNIGH. NEXT DAY PANGONG LAKE VISIT WILL BE ONE DAY TRIP.
- Start your ride from Pangong Lake after enjoying a delicious breakfast at your accommodation.
- Then, depart from Pangong, taking in the stunning views as you ride along.
- Along the way, you’ll reach Chushul, where you can visit the Rezang La War Memorial, honoring the heroes of the 1962 Indo-China War.
- As you continue your journey, enjoy breathtaking views of the Black Mountain. Next, you will reach Hanle en route to Loma Bend.
- If you arrive in Hanle before 4 PM, you can visit the Hanle Observatory for a fascinating experience.
- Finally, savor a delightful dinner and settle in for an overnight stay while taking in the beauty of the night in Hanle.
- Check out of Hanle stay after Breakfast, start journey towards next offbeat destination – Tsomoriri.
- Reach Korzok village by late afternoon, check into our very basic stay.
- Visit the most beautiful fresh water lake – Tsomoriri – wait for the sunset.
- Get back to the guest house, finish Dinner and take good rest in the cozy rooms.
- Nights are usually very cold at Tsomoriri/Pangong/Hanle because of very high altitude.
- From there, you will proceed towards Puga Valley, famous for Butan gas.
- Thereafter, you will continue towards Tsokar via Polokongka pass (at 13500 ft.).
- After visiting the Tsokar Lake. The place is quite known for wild Asses, seen grazing and moving in flocks.
- From here, you will drive towards Leh. On the way, you will stop to Tanglangla pass, the second highest
motorable pass in the world at 5350 m. after, arriving in Leh. - On the way before reaching leh visit thiksey monastery, shey palace and rancho school.
- Overnight stay in leh.
